About Sobha Realty
What the name tells you.
Sobha builds what it sells. The group runs its own design, engineering and construction rather than tendering the work to main contractors, and that tends to show in the finish more reliably than a brand name does. Read its history carefully: Sobha Group was founded in 1976 by P.N.C. Menon and the Indian business was established in Bangalore in 1995, so the 1976 you will see quoted belongs to the parent group, not to the Dubai arm. Its own about page describes the group as working across the UAE, India and the UK. Its Dubai project pages are unusually specific about unit sizes and starting prices tower by tower, and silent on commercial terms — we could not find a published payment plan for any current project.
Delivery notes
What we can and cannot verify.
No delivery statistics here either. Sobha's about page states no delivered-unit count and no on-time percentage. The one figure it does offer, roughly six million square feet of land developed, is not a measure of whether it handed over on the date it promised.
Sobha publishes no payment plan for any current Dubai project that we could reach — not on the master project page, not on the individual tower pages. Portals fill the gap with plans that disagree with one another. Ask Sobha for the schedule in writing, and treat any 60/40 or 80/20 you read elsewhere as unconfirmed.
Its own pages also disagree with each other on location and journey times: one Sobha Central page puts Business Bay ten minutes away, while a tower page for the same development puts Jebel Ali Metro two minutes away. Both cannot describe one site. Where a developer contradicts itself, we publish neither figure and ask for the correction.
